Since September is National Fall Prevention Month, we wanted to pass along some important information on how you can lower your risk of falls from The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. According to The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, among older Americans, falls are the number one cause of injuries and death from injury. Seniors have a greater risk of falls, and with that comes an increased risk of injuries, hospitalizations, and complications due to falls. By keeping their feet healthy, they can take steps to reduce their risk of falling.
